Pollworker Information
Registered Warren County citizens of all ages including college and high school students are encouraged to apply.
Poll workers are required by Law to attend one primary and one general class within a two year time frame. These classes can be split between the two years or both classes can be taken in one year. Each District Board consists of two Republicans and two Democrats.
Purpose
- Understand Election Law
- Learn the responsibilities of the District Board
- Become familiar with the voting machines
Requirements
- Willing to commit to two elections per year.
- Must report at assigned polling place at least 45 minutes before polls open at 6AM in accordance with Election Law.
- Be available the first Tuesday after the first Monday in June for the Primary Election and the first Tuesday after the first Monday for the November Election.
If you are sincerely available, committed and responsible, we welcome your application to work as a poll worker.
Poll Worker Duties
- Open and close polling station on time;
- Keep order in the polling place;
- Conduct assigned duties at polling site on election day;
- Monitor the voting equipment;
- Assist voters and other poll workers as needed.
In addition to the above duties on election day, a poll worker must attend training classes twice in a two year period.
Citizen involvement is essential to conduct an open, accurate and fair election.

Early Voting
Early Voting for the 2025 Primary Election will run from June 6th to June 8th.
