Poll Worker Information

Registered Warren County citizens of all ages including college and high school students are encouraged to apply.

Poll workers are required by Law to attend one primary and one general class within a two year time frame. These classes can be split between the two years or both classes can be taken in one year.  Each District Board consists of two Republicans and two Democrats.

Purpose:

  • Understand Election Law
  • Learn the responsibilities of the District Board
  • Become familiar with the voting machines

Requirements:

Willing to commit to two elections per year.
Must report at assigned polling place at least 45 minutes before polls open at 6AM in accordance with Election Law.
Be available the first Tuesday after the first Monday in June for the Primary Election and the first Tuesday after the first Monday for the November Election.
